Kayla Barnett, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant at Frontier Skin and Cancer, bringing a patient-focused and compassionate approach to dermatologic care. Certified by the NCCPA and licensed in Arizona, she is dedicated to conducting thorough examinations and crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of dermatologic concerns, including skin cancer prevention and treatment, management of chronic and acute skin conditions, and comprehensive skin exams to ensure early detection.

 

Kayla began her academic journey at Florida State University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics. Her studies in dietetics provide her with a deeper understanding of the role nutrition plays in overall health, enhancing her ability to consider holistic wellness when addressing her patients' skin concerns. Before attending South University in Savannah, GA, where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, Kayla gained invaluable hands-on experience as a dermatology medical assistant. This early exposure to dermatology inspired her dedication to the specialty.

 

Kayla takes pride in building meaningful relationships with her patients, offering individualized care that combines clinical expertise with a genuine desire to improve their quality of life. She believes in the importance of simple, effective skincare and the role of education in skin cancer prevention. Outside of the office, Kayla enjoys spending time in nature, whether hiking, exploring, or simply soaking up the beauty of the outdoors. She also loves finding new ways to connect with her community and create lasting memories with family and friends.

 

Kayla is excited to welcome patients to Frontier Skin and Cancer and looks forward to partnering with them on their journey to better skin health.
